Home Page Be creative! This is like a magazine cover so it should catch the reader’s eye. In a newsstand people pick up the magazine that looks the most interesting, and online the home page will attract the most attention. Be sure to advertise the big story or whatever else you think readers would be interested in. You may use whatever technology you are comfortable with to create your home page.
Side Bar Navigation Be sure that students and teachers alike can navigate throughout your Wikispace. Be sure to include the sidebar navigation as I have on the left column.
Fractions, Decimals and Percents This page needs to include the number of each color of M&M that you and your partner found in your bags of M&M’s combined. Then turn each number into a fraction of the total number of M&M’s you had. Include both the initial fraction and reduced form if applicable. Then turn each fraction into both a decimal and percent. Please display your answers in a table. You are welcome to copy and paste from excel.
Graph of your findings This graph should be a circle graph showing the distribution of colors in your bag of M&M's. Be sure to include a title.
Comparison of your findings vs. class Graphically compare your findings vs. those that we compile as a class using a double bar graph, as well as how many the factory produces. This will be a triple bar graph that you will create in excel. Include a few sentences summarizing your findings.
Self-Assessment Please write 1 to 2 paragraphs answering the following questions: 1. How well do you think the assessment showed your understand of fractions, decimals, percents? Justify your answer. 2. How well do you think the assessment showed your understand of circle and bar graphs? Justify your answer. 3. Rate how well you feel you and your partner did.
